Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning, and welcome! We’re grateful you are here as we lift our hearts together in worship to the Lord. It is truly with joy, as we gather each week, that I see God’s grace at work among us—in prayers offered, needs met, and quiet acts of service that reflect Christ’s love. With our Wednesday study in 1 Peter now concluded, I give thanks for the encouragement it brought and look ahead with expectation to the next study beginning this Wednesday. We will study 2 Peter, please join us!

Today we continue our journey through the Book of Acts as we step into chapter 8. In the wake of Stephen’s martyrdom, persecution scattered the church—yet God turned scattering into sowing. The gospel went to Samaria with Philip, bringing great joy to the city, and then onto a desert road where a single traveler encountered the living Word and went on his way rejoicing. Acts 8 reminds us that God’s faithfulness is not hindered by hardship; He guides His people, opens hearts, and advances His mission in ways seen and unseen. May our worship glorify Him, steady our trust, and send us out ready to bear witness wherever He leads. Amen.

This Wednesday – 27th August – Fellowship Dinner & Bible Class – 6:00PM

Please make plans to join us for our BYOD (Bring Your Own Dinner) mid-week Fellowship at 6PM on Wednesday. This is a great time to connect, strengthen relationships and catch up with one another.

From 7PM we will begin a new study of 2 Peter led by Manu.
