Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning to you on this last worship day of February. Thank you for joining our worship gathering today. I pray that God will answer your prayers in the midst of His people and that the Holy Spirit will strengthen your heart, mind and soul by His love through His people.

Many Christians, paused in the middle of this week to celebrate Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, which means we are but six weeks away from Easter. Let us join all of them in our purposeful mindfulness of the magnitude of this event, of our Savior’s sacrifice on our behalf and victory over death so that we may have hope. As we worship today, as we take communion today, let your heart be encouraged by the love God has shown you through His Son, Jesus Christ, by Whom you are saved.

This Wednesday – March 1^st – Family Time & Prayer&Game Night

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, we will do a combo Wednesday and begin with prayer for 15-20 minutes followed by a time of fellowship playing games so please bring your favorite game and engage someone to play it with you. This is a great opportunity to invite people to come along so please invite some friends to come over.

Collection for MCYC (Michigan Christian Youth Camp) -Next Sunday

Next Sunday we would like to make a collection for MCYC. If the Lord has placed it on your heart to help this ministry please set apart a donation and bring it on March 5^th. I will be sending out an email with events and needs for the camp as well. Another way you can support the camp is by becoming a camper.

Offering

This morning you can make your offering in the plate at the back of the auditorium, or you can as always have the option to make your offering online at https://troychurch.net/give
