Minister’s Corner
Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!
It seems as if it was yesterday that I was writing this text but for last week’s bulletin. Time indeed flies. We barely started this month and year and we already find ourselves on the last Sunday of January. As we contemplate today’s worship service, I want to, first of all, thank you for your presence among us and secondly to challenge you to think of your time here on earth and the plans God has for you. Last week we looked a little bit at the parable of the talents, and I can’t help but ask myself what are the talents that God gave me to multiply and make useful in this world. Which people are yet to hear the Gospel because I am not ready to share it with them? Have I buried the talent God gave me in the ground waiting safely for our Lord’s return? What about you? If you don’t know the story, find it at Matthew 25:14-30
This Wednesday – January 31st – Family Time & Bible Study

Thank you note - Quigleys
Dear Troy Church family,
We’re so blessed by your generosity throughout the year, and then the extra special holiday gift.

Online Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday – 7:15PM.
We hope that among your New Year Resolutions this year is to spend time with us reading the Bible together. This is a time ( in addition to you own personal Bible reading time), that offers us the possibility to be together in the word just as the Apostles and the early Church left by Christ, our Lord was. 100% pleasing to the Lord, I believe.
Ministry Opportunity – Rochester University students
There was a positive response from all of you in regard to the ministry to the Rochester University students and their basic needs being serviced by a free store. Thank you! I will be in touch again after we identify students and get a list of items.
