Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Kαλό μήνα! (Kalo Mina! A Good Month!) to you as we begin this first month that needs a holiday at the end to see us through it. We are going to need Thanksgiving to cope with next month and Christmas to cope with the month after that. I am kidding, of course. We all have Sunday to get us through every week so no matter if there are any holidays in the month our every week has a holy day to get us back on track and filled with the love of our brothers and sisters and the peace of the Spirit. I pray today will do just that for you. As we transition into the last quarter of the year and we are starting to talk about Serving Him, I pray that God blesses our fellowship, accepts our worship and infuses us with greater faith and peace. Let us gather therefore, with one accord to sing His love and to praise His mercy & grace as we also strive to live in a way that glorifies Him as we do in word and song. Thank you for choosing to worship at Troy today. May you be rewarded through your participation in our service.

This Wednesday – October 6th – Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, we will continue the new study on the subject of suffering lead by Caleb Simmons. Please join us in person and on Zoom for this insightful study.

Birthdays this week: Barb Oja (3rd); Claudia Mitchell (8th)

Leadership nominations – T-28

A couple of weeks ago I sent out a note regarding nominations for the future leaders of the Troy Congregation. October 31st is a Sunday this year and that is the Sunday we would like for you to turn in your nominations that you have, and will be, prayerfully thinking about. I cannot believe we are about to step in October so these 28 days will pass fast. This 4th Quarter of 2021 holds a lot of decisions for us as a congregation regarding leadership and living the 2022 year in the purpose of our Lord. This is an exciting time as well as we expectantly look to the Lord for direction and blessings. Thank you in advance for your diligence and partnership in the Spirit as we seek His guidance, living in His purpose.
