Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning and a happy new month to you. Do you believe it is already May? Where is time going so fast?!? Yet, here we are, day after day passing and with every day that passes ALL OF US are closer to Jesus than the day before. Do you realize that? Some are closer to Jesus as the Judge and others closer to Him as the Savior. When time will stop for you and me, we will discover which. Hopefully, you already know and are confident in the outcome for when He is our hope, there is only one outcome. Is He your hope? Is He your only hope of heaven? Think hard, for if you add anything to Him then He is not your only hope for heaven. Not one ounce of weight should be resting on your work, your actions that may deserve recognition or praise. Not one ounce of weight should be resting on the lack of those either, but only on His sacrifice. It is His sacrifice ALONE that gives you heaven.

This Wednesday – 7^th May – Fellowship Dinner & Bible Class – 6:00PM

Please make plans to join us for our BYOD (Bring Your Own Dinner) mid-week Fellowship at 6PM on Wednesday. This is a great time to connect, strengthen relationships and catch up with one another.

From 7PM we will continue our Christian Living Bible study in James led by Manu.

Giveaway – Postponed – Date TBD

Shana asked that we postpone the Giveaway for a date yet to be determined in May. Please contact Shana for any details.

Bible Break – Tuesday – 10:00AM to noon

Every Tuesday morning, a group of ladies from different congregations joins a group of our ladies for a Bible class. Currently studying Romans. Please invite any of the ladies you know.

Zoom Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday from 7:15PM

Please plan to join our Bible Reading group. This session they will be reading through the New Testament. You can use the same Zoom link as you use to join the services on Sunday morning.

Church of Christ Care Center – TODAY – 2PM

Please plan on attending the worship service at the Church of Christ Care Center, from 2PM today. Thank you.
