Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning. Allow me to wish you a great new month ahead. I pray that God will bless you anew in this month with a greater purpose driven from a greater understanding of His will and plan for you as well as from a closer relationship with Him.

April is already here and settled. We are well on our way into the year with the beginning of the 2^nd quarter. If I can be honest, time is moving a bit too fast for my taste. So many things to accomplish and take care of and so little time. How did you make your plans for this month ahead? Did you start with prayer? I hope so, because today we will talk about the power of prayer. However, when we don’t pray, we don’t only lack power, but I think Daniel Henderson is right when he affirms that “Prayerlessness is our declaration of independence from God.” & that’s the worst kind of declaration.

This Wednesday – 9^th April – Fellowship Dinner & Bible Class – 6:00PM

Please make plans to join us for our BYOD (Bring Your Own Dinner) mid-week Fellowship at 6PM on Wednesday. This is a great time to connect, strengthen relationships and catch up with one another.

From 7PM we will continue our Christian Living Bible study in James led by Manu.

Giveaway – Postponed – Date TBD

Shana asked that we postpone the Giveaway for a date yet to be determined in May. Please contact Shana for any details.

Bible Break – Tuesday – 10:00AM to noon

Every Tuesday morning, a group of ladies from different congregations joins a group of our ladies for a Bible class. Currently studying Romans. Please invite any of the ladies you know.

Zoom Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday from 7:15PM

Please plan to join our Bible Reading group. This session they will be reading through the New Testament. You can use the same Zoom link as you use to join the services on Sunday morning.

Church of Christ Care Center – April 6th – TODAY - 2PM

If you are able to, please plan on attending today’s Sunday’s worship at the Church of Christ Care Center.
