Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Kαλό μήνα (Kalo mina), A Good Month to you as we have entered the new month of February with its frigid weather, the winter blues and yet the hope and promise that Spring is not far now. We are still in the letter to Colossians, and I thank you for joining us as we journey through this letter from the Apostle Paul to a church he had never visited and yet, for whom, his heart beats with the love of Christ. This letter is not just for them but is for you and me, for US, who want more. If you are like me, you always want more and better. You want to be more; you want to be better and sometimes we lose our patience as we wait for God to help us grow. Forgetting that God’s timing is perfect we sometimes look for things we can add that will help us be more, be better. In the same effort the Colossian Christians were struggling, and Paul writes to them this letter about the sufficiency of Christ. Thank you again for joining us!

This Wednesday – February 9^th – Family Time & The Chosen Series

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our weekly fellowship meal. Since the second hour we will be watching a movie, we will open our Zoom from 6PM, shut it off at 7PM during the movie.

From 7PM, we will be watching the series Chosen about the life of Christ. We will watch Episode 3 of season 1.

Zoom Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday 7:15PM-7:45PM

Please join us as we read through Judges on Zoom. Although you may have your own reading plan throughout the year, I assure you this reading will not impact it, or you, in a negative way. Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane for our unity and these half hour readings do much in terms of counteracting the negative effects to our unity brought by this pandemic.
