Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Thank you for being with us this morning and hopefully throughout this day filled with exciting events as the Metro Detroit Youth Chorus will spend the afternoon at the Troy Church building culminating with a concert at 5:30PM.

As I write this, I pray that God will direct our hearts as we worship today and that His Spirit will provide strength and wisdom to our hearts. I pray that God’s mercy will be made evident through His presence in our midst and that our faith will be strong to open our eyes to truth, the truth He wants us to know as we continue our journey in Colossians.

We continue to pray for the people involved in the war in Ukraine, for their hearts, for their minds, for their suffering. Fast and pray that the work our enemy is doing will be destroyed by God and His angels to His glory, the glory of all that is true, and good, and loving, and pure.

This Wednesday – March 9^th – Family Time & The Chosen Series

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, we will be watching the series Chosen about the life of Christ. We will watch Episode 7 of season 1.

Metro Detroit Youth Chorus at Troy – March 6^th TODAY

The MDYC will be here this afternoon. At 1:30 there will be a small group show up to rehearse. At 3:00PM the rest of MDYC will show up and rehearse. Dinner is scheduled for 4:30PM. The concert will start at 5:30PM so please be back at the building by 5:15PM so as to not disturb their performance. Thank you in advance to all who have volunteered to help Lisa with the dinner. In addition, we will arrange tables and chairs after the morning services.
