Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning and thank you for joining us for yet another Sunday of sharing our hearts, our voices and our talents in service of one another and of God. We’ll continue to look at Jesus’ Apostle and the transformational relationship they had with Jesus, knowing that the same is available to us. Although we don’t have Jesus in the same physical form as they did, we fully have Him in His word, the Bible. His teachings told in a way that the Apostles themselves did not have, for the New Testament was not yet put together in a book. We have a unique opportunity to experience Jesus in a relationship by the Holy Spirit that will result both, in a fruitful life as well as a stronger faith in His divine plan and power to safely guide us home.

This Wednesday – October 9^th – Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, we will have a time of study led by Manu.

John Cao – Thank you Lord!

Quick update on John Cao who we’ve been praying for a couple of years now for. Pastor John Cao was released, after 7 years in prison. We praise God for seeing this man through his sentence and pray that He will continue to work through Jon.

Zoom Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday from 7:15PM

Please plan to join our Bible Reading group. This session they will be reading through the New Testament. You can use the same Zoom link as you use to join the services on Sunday morning. .

Church of Christ Care Center – October 6^th – TODAY

Please make an effort and a pleasing sacrifice to God and join us at the Care Center at 2PM today. Let’s honor God and encourage and uplift the older folks at the Care Center.

Ukraine fundraiser – Next Sunday – October 13^th

We will be planning a Ukrainian fundraiser bake sale on October 13^th after the services. My friend Tanya from Ukraine is a director of Christian Schools, and she requested funds for notebook computers for her staff. Due to constant blackouts in Ukraine its hard to keep computers working smoothly. In spite of the war, new Christian schools are still being opened in Ukraine! Thank you for your support ~Nadya
