Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning to you on this first Lord’s Day of July, a new month, and thus, allow me to offer you the traditional Greek wish of Kalo Mina - Καλό μήνα – A Good Month! I offer it as a prayer that God may bless you in this new month with a greater understanding of His work in your life and through your life.

Thank you for choosing to worship with us today. May God bless you through the fellowship with His saints in Troy and may we be blessed by God through you today. As we continue in the letter of 1 John toward a close let us remember that we CAN KNOW that we have a relationship and fellowship with God, and this is evidenced by our love for God and the love for our brothers and sisters. Our love for God is manifested by our submission and obedience to Him and our love for our brothers and sisters is manifested in our actions of service and humility toward one another. Let us endeavor to excel in both with unwavering conviction to God’s glory.

This Wednesday – July 10^th – Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, Caleb will finish his dissertation on preterist prophetic interpretation of Daniel, Ezekiel, Amos and Revelation.

VBS – July 15-19, 2024 – 9:30AM – 12:00PM. - UPDATE

Thank you to all who have offered to help with VBS, as well as to our prayer warriors! There are a couple of needs remaining for VBS: lots of newspapers and flat sheets, preferably white or off white (for making robes for our volunteers). Also, if God places it on your heart to donate funds, it would be great to have a water slide at the end of our VBS week! Next week, after services we will sew robes out of flat sheets – bring a sewing machine. Please continue praying for our kids to know the Lord deeper through this VBS!

Church of Christ Care Center – Troy Church led worship service @ 2PM

TODAY our congregation will be responsible for leading the worship at the Church of Christ Care Center is July 7^th. Please come out and support this ministry of love to the older folks. 23621 15 Mile Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48035 Please be there by 1:45PM. It is a 30 min drive from the church building.

Bible Study

If you would like an individual, one on one, Bible study on a certain subject, please send me an email at manu@troychurch.net and we can arrange a weekly meeting. Space is limited so first come, first served.
