Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

May is here and even though it came with a rocky start, as far as the weather is concerned, the smell of summer is in the air. As I write this, outside my window the birds fill the air with a symphony of praise to God for the new coming day as they await the blessing of the sun. Our getting together today is not much different than their morning ritual. We gather to praise a GOOD GOD, who allows the rain and the sun to fall upon the good and the wicked alike. In a testimony to His great mercy, we can witness in real time His patience and love for people. Each one of us probably has in mind someone who is enjoying these blessings and yet who absolutely shouldn’t be, don’t we? Sometimes is someone else, but many times is the very man I see in the mirror. Yes, the very fact that I draw breath today is a testimony to God’s grace and mercy. How about you? Do you have a reason to praise Him today?

This Wednesday – May 10th – Family Time & Worship Night

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, we will spend an hour in worship through singing and prayer. Please join us.

Birthdays this Week: Lora Price (9th)

Soccer Camp – August

As an outreach to the community I’ve been thinking about organizing a Summer Soccer Camp during the month of August. I am still putting the details together. This would be for kids between 6 and 10. Please let  me know if you are aware of anyone who could benefit from it.

Sunday Evening Volleyball – Starting on May 14th

Beginning on Sunday May 14th (weather permitting) we would like to start our Sunday evening volleyball and fellowship. Please let your friends know. This is a great opportunity to invite your friends to Church!
