Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Christ is Risen!

Today, we celebrate the reason for our HOPE, for although in His love our Savior sacrificed Himself for us, His death would not restore all things to the Father without today’s resurrection. “And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost.19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men,” the Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:17-19 – here in therefore lies our joy and celebration. Today, let your mind and heart free of the clutter of life and the world and focus on this fact, on the resurrection of our Savior on His triumph, and therefore your triumph over sin and death for eternity!

This Wednesday – April 12^th – Family Time & Question in the Box

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, a question was asked regarding the role of women in the church. I will send more information tomorrow.

Metro Detroit Youth Chorus -April 16th

On April 16^th  our congregation will host the Metro Detroit Youth Chorus. The Chorus will be at our building rehearsing from 3pm to 5pm with a concert at 5:30pm. Our congregation is responsible to feed the group.

Under 5 Children’s Church during Sermon - NEW

Nadya has graciously offered to host a children’s church for under 5 kids during the sermon portion of our worship so parents can better focus on the message. She would like to start a rotation so volunteers for this ministry are encouraged and appreciated. Please see Nadya for details.
