Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Welcome to our worship gathering this beautiful and sunny morning. We are excited to be together and to be able to worship God. We come together, this Sunday, as every Sunday, with joys, with sorrows, with victories and losses from the battle with the evil in the world, and we seek to give God  thanks for His faithfulness in guiding us, in waging our battle through us. Although we are far from perfect in so many ways, and we come bruised and battered from this battle, we come together with faith in the assurance that as we continue to walk in the light we are being renewed by God’s grace through the sacrificial blood of our Lord Jesus. As we continue our study to the 1 John letter we are assured of the fact that we can know if have a right standing with God and that there is evidence we can’t ignore in our lives or the lives of those around us that points to, or away from God. Let us continue diligently on the path of light we have been brough to by the calling we have received in Jesus Christ, our Lord, to the glory of the Father!

This Wednesday – June 12^th – Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, While Charles & Maureen are enjoying their European trip we will study with Caleb a bit of prophetic interpretation. Interesting, definitely.

VBS – July 15-19, 2024 – 9:30AM – 12:00PM.

Get ready for our VBS 2024 – Hometown Nazareth! We will have it on July 15-19, 9:30am – 12:00pm. Please, let Nadya or Patrick Oja know if you would like to volunteer with preparation or the actual event. We would appreciate your prayer support as we minister to our kids and those in the neighborhood! Thank you!

Church of Christ Care Center – Troy Church led worship service @ 2PM

Next opportunity our congregation will be responsible for leading the worship at the Church of Christ Care Center is July 7^th. Please come out and support this ministry of love to the older folks. 23621 15 Mile Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48035 Please be there by 1:45PM. It is a 30 min drive from the church building.

Bible Study

If you would like an individual, one on one, Bible study on a certain subject, please send me an email at manu@troychurch.net and we can arrange to meet weekly. Space is limited so first come, first served.

Nadya Oja expressed her desire to study one on one with any of the ladies who may desire to have a Bible Study. Please reach out to Nadya directly or to me if you don’t have her contact and we can arrange it.
