Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

As the chill of October sets in I hope that Paul’s words to the Philippian church bring you comfort and warm inside. In his address to the Philippian church Paul shows his faith and confidence that although it might seem at times that we are hopeless, that our selfishness and self-centeredness will never be properly delt with, the One who started the sanctifying work in us will not give up but be faithful to see it completed to the end so that on the day of Christ Jesus we will be found standing with the children of God in the court of His majesty. Take comfort in this. God’s faithfulness is beyond question and has been proven again and again in all the things He promised. Let us therefore stay strong on this promise. Let us not give up for as we don’t give up, we won’t also give in. The stronger we stand on Jesus’ promises the less chance our enemy has to deceive us.

This Wednesday – October 12^th – Family Time & Philippians Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, we will continue the Bible Study with Pat Oja which will also be available to those interested in participating on Zoom.

Zoom Bible Reading – Tuesday & Friday - 7:15PM-7:45PM

Please join us as we read through the New Testament. This week we will read on Tuesday Revelation 1-3 and on Friday we will read Revelation 4-6.

Still waiting on some feedback from you all about the themed Wednesdays and if we should go back and do that for a season.

I’ve been trying to be in the office one Tuesday morning, Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning in case anyone wants to pray together, have a Bible Study, or just some fellowship time. I would appreciate a notice ahead of time and for that you can use my calendar. Just go to the Troy calendar, click on Manu@ Church Office and follow directions.
