Godquest 11

So far we've looked at the Universe and it's vast dimmensions, but we also looked at the inner workings of the human beings, at the marvelous work cells do by using the program written in the DNA. We also stretched our minds and  considered the working of animal instinct guiding them on far journey us humans would hardly be able to attempt without instruments to guide us.

I want you to think about all those for a minute. I know that most of you believe God created it all and you have no need for scientific proof to believe that. However, whether you simply believe, or you believe because of research and understanding, I want you to ask yourself what does creation say about its Creator.

We look at the creation of a human being, an architect, a song writer, a painter, etc. and in contemplating their creation, their art, we often have a window into their heart.
What does creation say about God's heart?

Romans 1:20 tells us that "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made..."

Job 39: 19,21 "Do you give the horse his strength or clothe his neck with flowing mane?... He paws fiercely, rejoicing in his strength, and charges into the fray."

Stretch your mind further:

Picture and think of a mosquito.
Picture and think of a beautiful flower.
Picture and think of a cactus in the arid desert.
Picture and think of a family of elephants walking as they hold each others tails in guidance.
Picture and think of the massive body of a whale.
Picture and think of a carnivorous plant grabing a fly and devouring it.
Picture and think of the Grand Canyon.
Picture and think of a tropical beach with its blue waters, white sand and leaning palm trees in the breeze.
Picture and think of a girraffe.

Now with these pictures in mind. How would you decribe God?
List some adjectives or write a paragraph to describe our Creator.
