Dear Keith,

Year’s End is fast upon us, . . . Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and 2018 will be history. Kathy and I are running to keep up with the acceleration of time. Have you noticed that? Maybe you also feel in your bones Lewis Carrol’s adage: “The hurrier I go, the behinder I get.”

We are overwhelmed yet again by everyone’s generosity - the bake sale raised $1097.47!!! It’s over and above of what we raised in the years before. Thank you so much! Also special thanks to Bella, Gianna, Luci, Evie, Jules, Pat, Leslie, Shana, Jeremy and Valya for making yummy desserts! And what a special Christmas blessing to our refugee family from World Vision and our beloved Parents!

Greetings from York, PA, where we have experienced a warm two weeks of fall.

When we last wrote...
Diane had been with her parents for a month this summer when her father was hospitalized. After about a month in a rehab facility, he returned home and is now doing therapy as an out-patient. Thanks for all who prayed and expressed concern for him. Diane returned to Guatemala from Michigan in late July.

Well, well, well, well... Thank you for helping us raise money for 4 wells - $400!!! Your generosity has exceeded our highest expectations! Special thanks to Bella, Gianna, Evie, Jules, and Luci for your hard work in this wonderful endeavor! 'I was thirsty, and you gave Me a drink.'

Attached is the outline of the proposed leadership structure which was discussed at the Town Hall meeting on May 15 and at the follow-up meeting on May 22. The latter was recorded and is also attached.
