Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning to you on this beautiful June morning. I thank you for being with us as we come to the Father to worship Him. It is a funny thing when you think about it. We come to worship, to sing, to pray, to open the word and learn and although we do all these things with a desire to bring glory to Him and to show Him our love, in the end, we are the ones who benefit from it all. We are the ones who get filled with His peace and who feel the love of the brothers and sisters in faith around us. We are the ones who get to recalibrate our lives to be more in line with His purpose, functioning as per the Owner’s Manual once again for the week to come. From time to time, a light comes on in my car that let’s me know it is due for service A or B, or some other letter, and each one of those letters has a laundry list of things the mechanic does to make it run like new. Today, is your service date and our Father, the mechanic, gets to make you new.

This Wednesday – June 21^st – Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, Charles has agreed to step in, in my absence, and teach a class. Thank you, Charles!

Birthdays this Week: Isabella Florescu (22^nd);

Soccer Camp – July 11^th-14^th ; 4PM – 5:30PM

As an outreach to the community I’ve been thinking about organizing a Summer Soccer Camp during the month of July. This would be for kids between 6 and 10. Please let me know if you are aware of anyone who could benefit from it.

Torchbearers VBS – August 7-11 – 9:30AM to 12:00PM

We need support, if you can help, please let Nadya know.

Sunday Evening Volleyball – 2PM

Weather permitting at 2PM on Sunday afternoons we will play volleyball and continue our Sunday fellowship. Please let your friends know. This is a great opportunity to invite your friends to Church!
