Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

As we’ve turned the pages of our calendars to a new month this week, I pray that God will bless you with a good new month which will bring you closer to Him and make you increasingly more aware of His presence in your life.

Thank you for being here today to share in our gratitude to our Lord. It is a special time when we can all go TOGETHER before the Lord. It is in this act of coming together with the common goal to worship that we honor our Lord as the head of the Church. It is by design that although each of us is the temple of the Holy Spirit, only together we are the Church, the body of Christ. It is in our unity of worship that the love of God is demonstrated as our differences disappear washed away in the blood of His forgiveness. I am so glad you are here!

This Wednesday – February 7^th – Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, We will continue the new Bible Study on Faith Foundations with David Platt – Session 6 – The Story of God’s Word.

Birthdays this week: Ethan Sampath (8th); Kyle McCauley (9th); Harish Sampath (10th)

Online Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday – 7:15PM.

Please make plans to join us this week for group Bible reading. This is a time ( in addition to you own personal Bible reading time), that offers us the possibility to be together in the word just as the Apostles and the early Church left by Christ, our Lord was. 100% pleasing to the Lord, I believe.

Ministry Opportunity – Rochester University students

There was a positive response from all of you in regard to the ministry to the Rochester University students and their basic needs being serviced by a free store. Thank you! I will be in touch again after we identify students and get a list of items.
