Minister’s Corner
Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!
Welcome to a new month in this 2024 year that although it still seems new, it’s already in it’s third month. Good news though, Spring is just around the corner and my prayer is that as the nature awakens to new life so will we all. I love the seasons for this very reason. They give me a perspective of the fact that no matter how hard something may be in a season, it will eventually end as I enter a new season. The transition from Winter to Spring however is always a special time. First, because it is during the period of lent, leading to Easter. Second, because it reminds me as an illustration of the Lord that laid His life down in death only to resurrect to new life, just like the plants in the Spring, and bring us the hope that we will as well, through His victory, resurrect to new life just as He promised.
This Wednesday – March 6th – Family Time & Bible Study
On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.
From 7PM, We will finish the Bible Study on Faith Foundations with David Platt with – Session 10 – What Is God’s Will for Your Life?
Birthdays this week: Evelyn Oja (6th); Brenda Imhoff (9th)
Anniversaries this week: Charles & Maureen Tomes (4th); Brad & Brenda Imhoff (8th)
Online Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday – 7:15PM.
Please make plans to join us this week for group Bible reading. This is a time ( in addition to you own personal Bible reading time), that offers us the possibility to be together in the word just as the Apostles and the early Church left by Christ, our Lord was. 100% pleasing to the Lord, I believe.
Lunch & Fellowship
We would like to make you aware that after Sunday services we generally have several members who hang out at the building and share food together, potluck style. Bringing food is not a requirement to staying and eating so we invite you to stay and have lunch with us..
Offering
This morning besides the offering plate, you can as always have the option to make your contribution online at https://troychurch.net/give
If neither one of these options are suitable, please send a check to Lisa Jones. Her address is in the directory. Thank you.

" 3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep His commands. And His commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.” – 1 John 5:3-4
