Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning. Thank you for being here today. We gather Sunday after Sunday in this building not because this is just what we do on Sundays. We gather together because we want to worship the King, we want to hear from His Word and meet with Him and be changed by Him into the people that He wants us to be. This is the goal of our gathering. My prayer is that you’ve come here today in this spirit, that you may know more and be more fully known. That means love and encourage others and open yourself up to be loved and encouraged. It means be an active participant rather than a passive spectator. We are like batteries, in each one of us some energy, some spark from God, but when we are truly united and connected together in worship, His presence will fill the room lighting a fire in each of us.

This Wednesday – May 1^st – Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, We will continue to study Jesus’ parables led by Charles.

Online Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday – 7:15PM.

Please make plans to join us this week for group Bible reading. This is a time ( in addition to you own personal Bible reading time), that offers us the possibility to be together in the word just as the Apostles and the early Church left by Christ, our Lord was. 100% pleasing to the Lord, I believe.

Fellowship, Lunch & Volleyball

A few of us usually bring food and stay after the worship gathering with others who like to hang around and enjoy each other’s company share the lunch potluck style and now that warmer weather is coming, we will also be playing some volleyball. Please join us with or without food. Bringing food is not a requirement, we would love to have you hang out even if you didn’t bring food to share.
