Minister’s Corner
Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!
Good morning and thank you for being with us this morning. What is your goal today? In this worship service? What is the one thing that coming true will make you say, “it was worth coming.”? Is it the songs? Is it communion? Is it the sermon? Is it the people? On the flip side, what is it that it would make you say, “it wasn’t worth coming,” or “it wasn’t worth the drive”? My prayer is that your answer in both cases is “nothing.” Why do I say that? Because I think those questions only apply in a consumer type of mindset while in the mindset infused by Jesus into His disciples, I see a different purpose. That of being the blessing. That of being the very thing that would make it “worth it.” My prayer is that you’ve come here today to love those you come in contact with. To let God touch them through you with comfort, with a kind word of encouragement, with a hug, or whatever would give you a sense of worth, a sense of being appreciated. That in itself is worship more than all the songs we sing or the prayers we say.
This Wednesday – June 26th – Family Time & Bible Study
On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.
From 7PM, While Charles & Maureen are enjoying their European trip we will study with Caleb a bit of prophetic interpretation. Interesting, definitely.

VBS – July 15-19, 2024 – 9:30AM – 12:00PM. - UPDATE
Thank you to all who have offered to help with VBS, as well as to our prayer warriors! There are a couple of needs remaining for VBS: lots of newspapers and flat sheets, preferably white or off white (for making robes for our volunteers). Also, if God places it on your heart to donate funds, it would be great to have a water slide at the end of our VBS week! We have some flyers in the front if you want to invite some families. Please continue praying for our kids to know the Lord deeper through this VBS!
Church of Christ Care Center – Troy Church led worship service @ 2PM
Next opportunity our congregation will be responsible for leading the worship at the Church of Christ Care Center is July 7th. Please come out and support this ministry of love to the older folks. 23621 15 Mile Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48035 Please be there by 1:45PM. It is a 30 min drive from the church building.
Bible Study
If you would like an individual, one on one, Bible study on a certain subject, please send me an email at manu@troychurch.net and we can arrange a weekly meeting. Space is limited so first come, first served.
