Minister’s Corner
Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!
Good morning to you on this, the Lord’s Day and thank you for your choice to worship with the Troy Church. This is the last Sunday of June and although I don’t want to be a killjoy that means that half of 2024 is gone and now, we are downhill to winter. The highlight however is that right there, in the middle of it, we find the warm glow of Christmas which makes it all better.
Today we are stepping into chapter 5 of 1 John and closing on the finish line of this letter. We will go on after that to talk a bit about 2 and 3 John. I hope this book has given you a greater confidence on your relationship with Christ as well as a greater desire to know God more as revealed in our Savior Jesus, the Christ.
May the Lord bless you today with peace & joy in His presence!
This Wednesday – July 3rd – Family Time & Bible Study
On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.
From 7PM, Caleb will finish his dissertation on preterist prophetic interpretation of Daniel, Ezekiel, Amos and Revelation.

VBS – July 15-19, 2024 – 9:30AM – 12:00PM. - UPDATE
Thank you to all who have offered to help with VBS, as well as to our prayer warriors! There are a couple of needs remaining for VBS: lots of newspapers and flat sheets, preferably white or off white (for making robes for our volunteers). Also, if God places it on your heart to donate funds, it would be great to have a water slide at the end of our VBS week! Today, after services we will sew robes out of flat sheets – bring a sewing machine. Please continue praying for our kids to know the Lord deeper through this VBS!
Church of Christ Care Center – Troy Church led worship service @ 2PM
NEXT SUNDAY our congregation will be responsible for leading the worship at the Church of Christ Care Center is July 7th. Please come out and support this ministry of love to the older folks. 23621 15 Mile Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48035 Please be there by 1:45PM. It is a 30 min drive from the church building.
Bible Study
If you would like an individual, one on one, Bible study on a certain subject, please send me an email at manu@troychurch.net and we can arrange a weekly meeting. Space is limited so first come, first served.
