Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

CHRIST IS RISEN!

I’ve been waiting all year long to say this, yet it should be part of our daily greeting of one another. A reminder that in a world of suffering and death there is a living Savior whose arrival is imminent. Today we celebrate a victory like no other. We celebrate the victory of victories for no other victory has any meaning or significance without this victory. Jesus gave us the battle plan, yet somehow… turn the other cheek doesn’t seem to be conducive. Neither does love your enemies. Yet, in His life, in His death Jesus walked the talk and proved to us that it is in exactly the way He told us that victory is won. Tozer was inspired to point out this simple truth illustrated in Jesus’ life, death and victory. Perhaps today, we should finally listen, for we too are called to this.

This Wednesday – 23^rd April – Fellowship Dinner & Bible Class – 6:00PM

Please make plans to join us for our BYOD (Bring Your Own Dinner) mid-week Fellowship at 6PM on Wednesday. This is a great time to connect, strengthen relationships and catch up with one another.

From 7PM we will continue our Christian Living Bible study in James led by Manu.

Giveaway – Postponed – Date TBD

Shana asked that we postpone the Giveaway for a date yet to be determined in May. Please contact Shana for any details.

Bible Break – Tuesday – 10:00AM to noon

Every Tuesday morning, a group of ladies from different congregations joins a group of our ladies for a Bible class. Currently studying Romans. Please invite any of the ladies you know.

Zoom Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday from 7:15PM

Please plan to join our Bible Reading group. This session they will be reading through the New Testament. You can use the same Zoom link as you use to join the services on Sunday morning.

Easter Egg Hunt – TODAY – 11AM

We will need some help hiding eggs around the church property this morning. Thank you.
