Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning to you and thank you for being with us for this morning’s worship gathering. I pray that you will experience a day of personal discovery, a day filled with love & laughter as you fellowship with the saints at the Troy Church. Even the term saints in relation to any one of us should bring a chuckle or at least a smile on your lips. All joke aside, that’s exactly what we are. The difference is that the sainthood is not ours, it is Jesus’ but nevertheless we get to carry it around as if it was ours. So, take heart, however you’ve arrived in this fellowship today, whatever bruises and scars you may carry from this past week, or even the weeks before this, know that you are in the right place for this is a place of healing. It is a place where God meets each one of us where we are and heals us and takes us to Himself that we may walk tomorrow in His strength. And not only tomorrow, but every day moving forward. God be praised!

This Wednesday – 25^th June – Fellowship Dinner & Bible Class – 6:00PM

Please make plans to join us for our BYOD (Bring Your Own Dinner) mid-week Fellowship at 6PM on Wednesday. This is a great time to connect, strengthen relationships and catch up with one another.

From 7PM we will begin a new study through 1 Peter led by Manu.

Fish Fry & Southern Boil - TODAY

I kept forgetting to announce this event but hopefully you all know it by now. After the worship gathering today, we will continue our gathering with yummy fried fish and Southern Boil courtesy of Jeremy and Charles.

Troy VBS – Jonah’s Journey – August 4^th-8^th, 10AM – 12PM

We will have Jonah’s Journey VBS at our church this year, August 4-8, 10am – 12pm. If you are interested in helping us decorate it, organize it, or run it, we would love your help and involvement! You can contact Pat, Nadya, or Linda. Also, you can make donations toward our prizes and water slide (cash or checks to Troy Church of Christ, earmarked VBS). Please, join us in prayer for this wonderful ministry to help our youth discover God in fun and exciting ways to make a lasting impact on their eternal souls!

Church of Christ Care Center – July 6th

Please mark your schedules and plan attending the Care Center worship with us on July 6^th. Let Pat or Manu know if you would like to serve in any specific area during the worship (song leading, communion, offering, preaching). Thank you in advance!
