Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning, and thank you for joining us today as we come together to worship the Lord. I pray it has been a week of blessings with times of fellowship, encouragement, and growth as we continue to walk in faith. We have a living hope in Christ, a hope that strengthens us in every season of life, but He also gave us each other to share our burdens with. Take time to encourage and support one another today.

This morning, we return to our journey through the Book of Acts and conclude chapter 7. Here, Stephen’s powerful testimony before the council points us back to the unwavering faithfulness of God throughout history. Even when His people faltered, God’s promises never failed. As we reflect on His faithfulness today, may we be encouraged to place our trust more fully in Him, and may our worship bring glory to His name and peace to every heart.

This Wednesday – 20^th August – Fellowship Dinner & Bible Class – 6:00PM

Please make plans to join us for our BYOD (Bring Your Own Dinner) mid-week Fellowship at 6PM on Wednesday. This is a great time to connect, strengthen relationships and catch up with one another.

From 7PM we will really end our study through 1 Peter led by Manu.

Waterford Church Ladies Day – September 6th

Church of Christ Care Center – Date Change for September

Please note that there is a schedule change for the month of September. We will not be at the Care Center on the 1^st Sunday of the month but the 3^rd, which is September 21^st Make this change in your calendar please.

Church activities & ministries

Do you have an idea about a ministry or an activity God may have placed on your heart about our church body? Is there something you would like to lead, like a prayer hour or a support group of some kind? Please don’t be shy to let us know.

Volleyball, Games & Bonfire – TODAY

Please plan on some fun & fellowship this afternoon from 6PM. I will bring hot dogs, smores stuff and of course, fruitsicles and waters. Please bring anything else you would like but most definitely – Bring friends!
