Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning, and welcome! It is so good to be together today as we gather to honor our God in worship. Each Sunday brings us the joy of lifting our voices together, encouraging one another, and being reminded of the Lord’s presence in every part of our lives. What a blessing it is to be part of His family and to share in the hope we have in Christ.

Today we continue our journey through Acts with the story of Philip and the Ethiopian official in Acts 8:26–40. Led by the Spirit to a desert road, Philip was given a divine appointment that changed a man’s life and carried the good news into new lands. This passage reminds us that God is always at work—opening doors, preparing hearts, and using His people to bring others to Christ. May our worship today glorify Him, inspire us to listen for His leading, and send us out ready to share the gospel wherever He places us.

This Wednesday – 24th September – Fellowship Dinner & Bible Class – 6:00PM

Please make plans to join us for our BYOD (Bring Your Own Dinner) mid-week Fellowship at 6PM on Wednesday. This is a great time to connect, strengthen relationships and catch up with one another.

From 7PM we will continue our study of 2 Peter led by Manu.

Anniversaries this week: Jon & Melissa Balun (27th)

Bible Break – September 23rd – 9:45AM

The Bible Break ladies’ Bible meets every Tuesday with 9:45AM coffee & social time. Study starts at 10AM and ends at 11:30AM. This season the ladies will be focusing on the Hebrews text of the New Testament. Invite a friend!

Corn Roast & Highland Games – THANK YOU

I had such a blast at this year’s Corn Roast and Highland Games. Thank you for the food prepared, the corn roasted, and for being such good sport and participating in the games. As someone said it, “the sisters tug of war was epic!”
