We are all aware of how the events in Ukraine have been dominating international news. The violence in the eastern regions, particularly Donetsk and Luhansk, has caused people to fear for their safety and in many cases to evacuate. Nadya's friend, Tanya Chumakova, started a Christian school in Donetsk a few years ago and told her that she recently had to close it because parents are afraid to let their children attend.

In addition, just this week separatists in Donetsk took over the building where the Horlivka Church of Christ meets and where the Bear Valley Bible Institute conducts classes. Families from the Donetsk area have come to Ternopil and are being hosted by the church there. Nadya's dad, Volodya, sent a report yesterday which was posted on the Slavic World for Christ website: Refugees from Donetsk. Please keep these brothers and sisters in your prayers and pray for a quick resolution to the conflict in these regions.
