Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

As believers, we may lose a daily battle, but that does not mean we lose the war. Most of us start the day optimistically, unless we stub our toes getting out of bed. Then a series of circumstances slowly diminishes our confidence, and we fail the test of faith. If our victory were totally dependent on self, then we would be losers. Since our victory is dependent on Christ, we win the war, even though we may have lost a battle. This is not permission to lose our cool. On the contrary, it is motivation to keep focused on Christ. Conquerors win earthly battles. We are more than conquerors because our victory is eternal. You are winner. Act like one.
