Many at Troy remember Don and Janet Lindsey, who were longtime members at Troy before moving south. Don passed away last Friday, November 20, after a long battle with cancer. A memorial service is scheduled for 12 noon on Saturday, December 12, at the Auburn Hills Church of Christ, 3246 Lapeer Rd., Auburn Hills. We'll provide any other details as they become available.
Just wanted to send out a reminder about this Sunday's VBS meeting directly after services. Due to our being ill the past week, I know that it's been hard to catch us in person. So far we've got 6 signed up for our lunch meeting and that includes Nadya and me. If you're planning to come but haven't yet let us know, please do so that we can make sure there's plenty to eat!
Next Sunday, April 19, we will have an overview and informal planning meeting at around 12:30pm to discuss the theme and details of the 2015 VBS. Lunch will be provided (including gluten-free!), so we need to have a reasonably accurate count of how many will attend. There are some major volunteer needs between the dates of Wednesday, December 31st and Sunday, January 4th. On these days, the shelter will be hosted at Temple Israel (5725 Walnut Lake Rd, West Bloomfield, MI 48323) but we still need transportation volunteers.

I will taking the Troy Church website offline this Saturday 9/20 between the hours of 6-8am in order to apply a number of updates for additional security and stability.
