Fowlers' Update for June 2015

Torre dell’Orso convention.  Some 35 people attended this gathering in south Italy, to participate in a joyful period of rest and encouragement. The economic situation in Italy (as in the rest of the world) made it impossible for many to share in the uplifting spiritual banquet that was prepared.

Fowler Update

Fowlers’ Update for March-AprilA powerful testimony. Several years ago, we told you the conversion story of Angela, a dear soul that trusted God more than she feared her ungodly husband. The day she came home and told him of her baptism, angrily he threw a plate of food at the wall and began harassing her. She had already begun reading her Bible, praying and finding Christian companionship in her fellow believers. Her two sisters were already committed to Christ and encouraged her. All of them were witnessing to their mother. Fast forward to 2015.

Fowlers' Update for June

DID YOU PRAY FOR HAROLD’S HEALTH? We consulted another neurologist who was trained in America at the Mt. Sinai hospital. He seems to closer closer than anyone previously to a valid diagnosis for what might be Harold’s problem (constant fatigue, trouble with eyes, fingers, speech). He prescribed some specific medicines and Harold will have to have an MRI of his neck. At the moment he has bronchitis so cannot take the new medicine until this is cleared up. In the meantime, he is doing swimming therapy. He can drive the car.

Refugees from East Ukraine

We are all aware of how the events in Ukraine have been dominating international news. The violence in the eastern regions, particularly Donetsk and Luhansk, has caused people to fear for their safety and in many cases to evacuate. Nadya's friend, Tanya Chumakova, started a Christian school in Donetsk a few years ago and told her that she recently had to close it because parents are afraid to let their children attend.
